Obituary of Ann Hopf

HOPF Ann L., age 98, died peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2011. Born in Jersey City, she lived in North Bergen for many years before moving to Mahwah in 2005. Ann was bookkeeper with the Hudson Dispatch Newspaper of Union City. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and aunt who loved being with her family. Ann is survived by her dear daughter Barbara Rahelich of Mahwah, her sister Mildred Cummings of Midland Park, her brother Raymond Ivers of New Port Richey, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William, her sister Dorothy Haggerty, her brother Edward Ivers and her son-in-law Matthew Rahelich. Funeral Prayers, Tuesday, 9:15 AM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, followed by a Funeral Mass, Tuesday, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Entombment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Diabetes Foundation, Inc., 13 Sunflower Ave. Paramus, NJ 07652, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
