Obituary of June Borgman

BORGMAN, June Carol Oostdyk, 72, passed away peacefully in New Jersey on Thursday, May 12, 2011. She had a heart too big for this world. June was born in Paterson, New Jersey, to Engle & Hilda Oostdyk. After attending Nursing School and living in New York City she moved to Stanford, and then to New Canaan, Ct. Mrs. Borgman worked as a nurse in Stamford Hospital and later as a private duty nurse in New Canaan, Darien and Greenwich. She also volunteered for Hospice in Fairfield County. Mrs. Borgman maintained that her devotion to her children was her greatest accomplishment. June was a member of Long Ridge Congregational Church in Stamford, Ct and The Green Pond Bible Chapel in Green Pond, New Jersey. Pastor Andy Brown is the Pastor who will be sharing at the graveside and the Memorial Service in Celebration of June's Life. Mrs. Borgman is survived by her children - James Earl, Elizabeth Ann, Joel Michael, Jesse Daniel and Heidi Leone, her grandsons; Jesse Daniel Jr. and Sebastian Rhy, and her granddaughter, Winslow Rae. June also leaves behind nine brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. Services are at the graveside on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1:45 P.M. at George Washington, Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, New Jersey 07652. There will be a reception at 4:00 P.M. at The Green Pond Bible Chapel, with a Memorial Service immediately following the reception at 7:00 P.M. Green Pond Bible Chapel, 1083 Green Pond Road, Rockaway New Jersey 07435. Please join the family as they "Celebrate June's Life"…… The Family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her name to The Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care of South Western, Ct, 1266 E.
