Aunt Judy, Donna and Tracey: Diana and I and my daughters Ashley and Amanda are very sorry for your loss. Uncle Ed was very special to me and although I didn't see him near enough, I have always felt very close to him. I remember when Uncle Ed agreed to be my confirmation sponsor and he picked me up at our house in Pompton Lakes in that red Corvette Coupe. We actually had a great time that weekend in Ringwood. He will be surely missed - Todd

Dear Judy, Donna, Lee, Tracey, Carlos, Tyler and Samantha, We are so sorry to learn about Ed's passing, and are praying for you all for comfort and healing. Ed was a great guy, a warm, caring, funny man, and we were privileged to know him. He will be so missed! Our thoughts are with you all, and we wish we could be there to give you our condolences and hugs. Ed, and you all, mean a great deal to us as our "summer neighbors" and friends. We'll never forget Ed's kindness and his sense of humor. Geoff will treasure the fun he had with Ed riding in the parade on the motorcycles that year. Our hearts are with you for strength and hope in the days ahead. With sympathy and love, The DeVinneys

It was my privilege to work with Ed for most of the past three years. He always brought a smile to the face of his colleagues as he shared stories about his golf game, Ocean Grove, and his beloved family. He lived life very well, and although his time came too soon we have been blessed in knowing, and loving, this fine man. Our prayers are with the entire family.

Ed brought a smile to everyone he met. It was always great to see his face light up when he spoke about his family and the special pride he had in his grandchildren. Simply put, he was the best of men. He will be missed by us all.
