Obituary of Eleanor Grant

Grant, Eleanor W. (nee Gilman) age 84 of Wyckoff died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at her home. Born in Hackensack, she lived in Ridgewood before moving to Wyckoff in 1987. Eleanor was a Wave in the Navy from 1944-1946 serving as a Pharmacist's Mate Second Class. Eleanor was a member of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church, Ridgewood and a former member of Arcola Country Club, Paramus. Surviving is her son, David B. Grant of Gainesville, FL, her grandchildren, Major Laurence Brackett of Manassas, VA and Virginia Marggraf of Salem, NH. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Russel Grant in 1975, her daughter, Sandra Grant Brackett in 1981and her sister, Elizabeth Bellinger in 2006. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 2 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Private cremation was held.
