Obituary of Yvonne Schutt

SCHUTT, Yvonne Claire, age 40, died on Thursday, January 27, 2011. Born in North Haledon, she grew up in Wyckoff and lived in Glen Rock before moving to Ridgewood. Yvonne graduated with honors from Ramapo College as a gifted art major. She was known specifically for her beautiful sculptures. Yvonne had a penchant for adventure which she expressed through her love of deep sea diving, parachuting, rock climbing and mountain biking. In recent years she developed a passion for cooking. She also loved to spend time with her loyal sheltie, Emma. Yvonne is survived by her dear friend Brian McMahon of Ridgewood, her loving mother Claire J. Schutt of Pompton Plains, her two brothers; Eric Schutt and wife Veronica of Burlington, NC and Andrew Schutt and wife Ellen of Denville, her brother-in-law Clifford Hamblen of Mahwah and her nieces and nephews; Aubree, Sarah, Ian, Aidan and Kieran. Yvonne was predeceased by her dear father George William in 1994 and her sister MaryBeth Hamblen in 2007. Friends may visit the family on Monday, 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Service, Tuesday, 11:00 AM at the Chapel at Cedar Crest, 1 Cedar Crest Drive, Pompton Plains, followed by private cremation.
