Obituary of Robert Edwards

EDWARDS, Robert A., age 88, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Born in Cleveland, OH he lived in Wyckoff for fifty years before moving to Woodcliff Lake a year ago. Robert was a mechanical engineer with Curtis Wright Corporation, his career spanning 25 years before retiring in the 1970's. He then joined his wife Leynor as a real-estate agent where he worked for 25 years, mostly with Gilsenan and Company. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Midland Park. Robert is survived by his two sons; Ted and his wife Mary of Warwick, NY, and Scott and his wife Lori of Upper Saddle River. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; Ted, Jr., Rachel, and Samantha and his two step-grandchildren Connor and Emma. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Leynor (nee Young) in 2002. Funeral Service Monday 9:30 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 497 Godwin Ave, Midland Park, NJ. Interment, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff.
