Obituary of Lorraine Kohler

Lorraine T. Kohler, (nee King), age 74, of Wyckoff, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Lorraine lived in Uniondale, NY before moving to Wyckoff, NJ in the 1970's. Lorraine was a Manager for NYNEX, New York, NY for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1992. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth RC Church, Wyckoff. She was a former CCD Teacher and a member of NYNEX Alumni Association and the Telephone Pioneers. Lorraine is survived by her husband, Charles of Wyckoff, 2 sons, Timothy of Manchester, VT and Christian of Norwalk, CT, 1 brother, Thomas King of Wyckoff, and 3 sisters, Mary Schulz of Port Richey, FL, Ellen Hasemann of East Meadow, LI, and Eileen Holleran of Poultney, VT. She was a loving grandmother of Miles Kohler. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, 2 - 4, 7 - 9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Prayers will be offered on Thursday, 10:00 AM at the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ. Cremation will be private.
