Dear Petrillo Family, We were very saddened to hear of your loss. While we never knew Pat Sr. directly, Pat Jr. and his wife Jennifer have been long time friends. Anytime a friend loses someone close, you tend to feel his pain. We often think that our parents are invincible, that they will always be there for us. When death comes so suddenly, therefore, we are jolted back into the reality that life itself is so precious and fragile. It is a gift that should be celebrated daily, hourly. Hug and kiss your children multiple times a day. Tell them that you love them and that you are proud of them. Call and visit your parents. Hug and kiss them too. Make every day personal. Pat will continue to live on in your lives through your children and their children. He will never be far from you. Your memories of him will always keep him close to your hearts. May your grieving be short, but may your fond memories of Pat be long. God bless you all during this time of sadness.
