Jan. 31, 2007 Dear Elizabeth, We have not met. We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of your beloved Dad. Your Dad was such a good man and we had a lot of good times during medical school. We used to tease him as Elvis because of the way he combed his jet black hair with long sideburns. The last time we were together was at a Mediteranean cruise about 2 or 3 yrs ago. Glad that he and your Mom were able to join that cruise. We would like to express our deepest sympathy to you, your Mom and to the whole family on this very sad occasion. Dear All, It was only yesterday that I read Minda's information regarding Frankie and how seriously ill and very weak he was. Hearing that he had suffered a lot through surgical and chemical interventions to no avail, we were not surprised that he finally lost the battle as Mrs. Chan announced. We did offer our prayers at mass yesterday and will continue to remember Frankie and his family for the days to come. For Viniang and the rest of the families we offer our sympathy and our prayers. Ver & I are deeply, deeply saddened with the passing on of our dear friend & classmate, Frankie. We will continue to pray for him & his family as we are doing as soon as we learned of his illness on the website a few days ago. We last saw him during our class Mediterranean cruise in Oct 2004 & very fondly remember his exuberant spirit, his robust laughter, his joy during the dinners & evening shows but especially after the shows when we gather around for the banana flambe (merely 2 hrs after a big dinner!) Oh, how he relished this time with the group! We remember him for all the joys we shared, we'll remember him for as long as we live, he too shall live for he is now a part of us forever as we remember him. Sincere condolence for your loss of Frankie. He was a very good and warm friend, I'll miss him too.I feel bad in a way for not knowing sooner of his illness. Maybe, I could have offered suggestions on how to utilize some of nature's wellness resources. In honor of his passing away, I am extending a helping hand to share with you and our group some basic techniques of health maintenance which I have learned from Preventive Medicine. In recent years, there has been a lot of research knowlege accumulated to help us live healthier and longer life.
