I will never forget Mr. Liguori, my 6th grade teacher at Our Lady of the Scapular School on 29th Street in New York City. After all these years, I can still remember how he connected with all the students in the class. He was so young, now that I look back. We must have been his first class (1966-1967). After having mostly nuns as our teachers, Mr. Liguori was a breath of fresh air. I remember he drove a Dodge 2-door Dart with a vinyl roof. I believe it was a teal color. He was unconventional for the time and I remember he would light up a cigarette while the class took a test. I am so saddened by his passing as I would have liked to re-connect through facebook. To all his family, I will always have fond memories of Mr.Liguori. He truly was one of a kind and I send my deepest sympathy.

From September of '67 till June of '68, this man resided in my universe, in my reality, as my 6th grade teacher at Our Lady of the Scapular. Looking back, because it was such a tiny, almost meaningless, bit of time, I will never be anywhere close to the man he was. But understanding now how meaningful it was that he did pass through my universe, makes me the man I am - a better one than one without have known him. Till I see you again, Dude. RIP, Bernardo aka GhostRider

Dear Gen, Billy, Tatum, Richard, Andrea, and family - I am so very sorry for your loss. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. I hope he has found his way to my dad - so he will have someone to guide him, help him, and have a partner for the amazing rounds of golf they will be playing. You will always have a guardian angel watching over you. I will miss hearing the stories he loved to tell - and that will always be my fondest memory of him - how you guys took me to Old McDonalds farm - and how someone broke the coffee pot ??? It is so hard - and if you need anything - please let me know !!!!! We love you !!!!!!

There is no need to tell you how special Bill was to everyone who knew him. I looked to him as my mentor from the first time I met him at a D&B sales meeting in Durango Colorado in 1979. He and I were the only ones (out of 25 guys) to throw a rock across the lake at the outdoor barbecue one evening. He always reminded me of the story every time we spoke, along with what a good ball player he was back in the day. A wonderful husband, a great father and grandfather who always spoke about how much he loved his family. To his close golf buddies, old "88" will be missed, and how lucky we were to have Bill as our friend. Thom Majka, his buddy from Cleveland

We are very sorry and saddened by the news of Bill. We spoke with Bill at the Relay for Life at the HS in June. Sandee has fond memories of the times that she and Bill jitterbugged together in the old days. In our first year of softball a hard line drive hit Bill in a very tender spot and son Billy was sitting next to me on the bench. I saw the love and concern in his face, and said a prayer that someday Sandee and I would have kids that were as loving and concerned as young Billy was that day. You have our prayers and support. RJ, Sandee, Joseph and Elizabeth...
