Obituary of Eleanor Van Ess

Eleanor Van Ess, (nee Himes), age 82, died Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the NJ Veterans Home at Paramus. Born in West Paterson, she resided in Franklin Lakes for 18 years before moving to Ortley Beach and then returning to Franklin Lakes in 1998. Eleanor was a seamstress for the Goodman Company, Paterson prior to her retirement. She was a former member of the Franklin Lakes Seniors and the Moose Lodge in Ortley Beach. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine L. Finn of Oakland and two sons, Leonard H. of Franklin Lakes and Gary P. of Monroe, NY. Also surviving are three Grandchildren, Kathleen M., Leonard A. and Nina Van Ess. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Leonard in 1990. Visiting Sunday 2 �" 4 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ followed by a Funeral Service on Monday at 10 AM. Interment Laurel Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
