What We will always remember are the times Aunt Ethel and Uncle Tommy would come to mom and dads for dinner. I would always find away to crash their visit. Sarah And Steven loved to see her. She always made them feel important. I think they also knew that some good desserts would be served too. We loved to hear the stories about when Aunt Ethel and our parents were younger and hearing you all laugh .Especially the stories about their 6am breakfasts at the lake and the stuff they had to bring.
What Steve and I will always remember is the love that Aunt Ethel and Uncle Tommy had for each other. It was evident in the way they teased each other and the little looks they would pass when they thought no one was looking. Being married for Fifty years takes work but they made it look easy. Their relationship and love inspire us ,along with our parents, to do the work it takes. It is so worth it if we have just a small amount of the love they obviously share .
