Obituary of Yasuko Okada

OKADA, Yasuko Clara, age 28 of North Bergen, died Saturday July 31, 2010. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Yasuko was raised in Wyckoff and lived in Tokyo, London and Boston before moving back to New Jersey. She was a graduate of Boston University. Yasuko was a Marketing Manager for Mcgraw-Hill Higher Education Publishing in New York City. For the past 10 years Yasuko was an avid Scuba Diver, enjoying the world she found underwater. Surviving are her parents Natsuo and Soko Okada formerly of Wyckoff, now of Lake Barrington, IL, and her sister Haruko Okada of Cleveland Heights, OH. Visiting will be Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ. A service of remembrance will be held at 4:00 PM. Cremation will be private.
