Obituary of Gilda Porcoro

Porcoro, Gilda (nee Di Brino) age 97 of Ramsey died Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Born in Paterson, she lived in Fair Lawn before moving to Ramsey 21 years ago. Gilda was a Registered Nurse for many years and before her retirement she was employed by the Bendix Corp. of Teteboro, NJ. Gilda was the last surviving member of the 1933 Nursing Class of Paterson General Hospital. She was a former member of the Cosmos Club of Fair Lawn. Gilda was a talented artist, who won awards in France for her work with oils and water colors. Surviving are her 5 nephews, Emil War, Richard Di Brino, Christopher Barriscale, William Belmont and Robert Belmont. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.
