Obituary of William Verhulst

Verhulst, William age 90 of Midland Park died peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2010. Born in Paterson he lived in Midland Park for 57 years. William was an Army veteran who served during WW II. He was a typesetter for the Bergen Record, Hackensack for 24 years before his retirement. He was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park and was a popular member of the Bergen County Senior Center, Midland Park and the VFW Post 7086, Midland Park. William an avid pilot flew his own airplane until the age of 80. Surviving are his loving daughters, Chris Faulkner and her husband Dave of Rockaway and Casey Burfeind and her husband Ken of Midland Park. Also surviving are his 4 grandchildren, David and Melissa Faulkner and Nicole and Sara Burfeind. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 30 years, Clazine Verhulst in 1983.
