Obituary of Robert Greer

GREER, Robert A. age 49 of Midland Park, died Friday, July 2, 2010. Born in Saddle Brook, NJ, Bob was a lifelong resident of Midland Park. He was an Independent Real Estate Appraiser for 20 years and owned Robert A. Greer I.F.A. In 1981 he graduated from Bergen Community College with an A.A.S. degree and in 1985 he graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from William Paterson University. Bob was a member and former president of the N.A.I.F.A. Bob was very active in Midland Park youth sports, coaching basketball and baseball. He was a past president of the Midland Park Board of Recreation and was an avid basketball player. Surviving are his loving wife of 20 years, Anne (nee Sanders), his adoring children, Robby, Matt and Marybeth, his sister, Tammy Greer and his uncle, Wayne Sheets and his wife Pam. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park. Cremation will be private. Visiting is Wednesday, 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.
