Obituary of Catherine Gretkowski

GRETKOWSKI, Catherine A., age 80 of North Haledon, died Wednesday, May 5, 2010. Born in Jersey City, Catherine , lived in Lyndhurst and Wayne before moving to North Haledon. Catherine is survived by her devoted son John and his wife Maria of North Haledon, and her adoring granddaughters Rachel and Alexa. She is also survived by her brother Henry Gretkowski and his wife Elizabeth of Burlington, VT. Catherine was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Joseph Gretkowski in 2008. Visiting is Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass is Saturday 9:00 am at St. Gerard's RC Church, 501 Broadway, Paterson. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa.
