Obituary of Sebastian Firriolo

FIRRIOLO, Sebastian "Buddy" age 78 of Fair Lawn, formerly of Waldwick, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 26, 2007. Devoted father of Donna of Westwood and companion Cathy, Jack and his wife Kate of Doylestown, PA, and Diane and her husband Tim Yuskaitis of Fair Lawn. Loving grandfather to Gina and Lisa Firriolo, Kayla, Jack, and Caroline Firriolo, and Timmy and Jenna Yuskaitis. Bud was predeceased by his loving wife, Virginia in 1981. Dear brother of Marie Nolan of New York City and Ann Rampulla of Queens. Cherished uncle to Jack Rampulla of Long Island and Vito Rampulla of Queens. He is also survived by his long time companion Joan Stiles of Tennessee. Born on March 2, 1929 Buddy lived in Manhattan until he married the love of his life, Virginia. They moved to Queens, then to Waldwick in 1962 where they shared their happiest moments. In 1980, they celebrated their 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary by renewing their vows. Buddy was an expert horticulturalist and his yard was perpetually in bloom year round. He was employed as a tailor for Crystal Brands/Evan Picone of North Bergen, and was a member of the ILGWU for many years. Bud was also a Korean war veteran. Funeral mass will be held Thursday 10am at St. Luke's RC Church 340 Franklin Tpk. HoHoKus. Interment will follow in the Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
