Obituary of Laura Pabon

PABON, Laura, age 44, died suddenly on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Born in Englewood, she lived in Glen Rock before moving to Hawthorne ten years ago. Laura was a pediatric medical assistant with Maple Avenue Pediatrics, Fair Lawn. She had a great love for children and expressed that love through her work. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as roller blading and cycling with her daughter Caroline and spending time at the Jersey shore. Laura is survived by her precious daughter Caroline Dix of Hawthorne, her father Al and step-mother Joyce Pabon of Wayne, her sister Phyllis Falsetta and husband Andy of Hancock, NY and her dear companion Rick Vitagliano. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, 2-6 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Cremation and Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, would be appreciated.
