Obituary of Harry Homer
Homer, Harry A. age 92 of Midland Park died Friday, March 5, 2010. Born in New York City, he was a resident of Midland Park for 44 years. Harry was a WW II Navy veteran who was a Pearl Harbor survivor. Before his retirement he worked for Marlow Pumps of Midland Park for 19 years. He was a member of VFW Post and American Legion Post both of Midland Park. He was also a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivor Association and the Midland Park Knights of Columbus, # 5498. He was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity, Midland Park. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Anna (nee D'Anella) Homer, his son, Joseph and his wife Nancy Homer of Waldwick. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Monday, 10:00 am at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect Street, Midland Park, NJ. Interment St. Luke's Cemetery, Ho Ho Kus, NJ. www.vpfh.com
