Obituary of Jeffrey Krumm

KRUMM, Jeffrey C. age 57, of Elkton, MD, died peacefully on Friday, August 24, 2007. He grew up in Wyckoff, NJ and graduated from Loyola University in Baltimore in 1971. He had a successful 34 year career in information technology in the banking and insurance industries before retiring in 2005 from Zurich Commercial, formerly Maryland Commercial Insurance Group of Baltimore. During the Gulf War, Jeff served in the United States Air Force as Staff Sergeant. He lived most of his adult life in Baltimore where he enjoyed baseball and boating in Chesapeake Bay. Surviving is his mother, Vera M. Krumm of Wyckoff, NJ and brothers Robert of Glen Rock, NJ and Richard of Rutherford, NJ and many cousins. His father, Charles George Krumm, died in 2004. Visitation will be at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ, on Monday, August 27, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 28, at 11:00 am prior to cremation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
