Obituary of Mary Valentine

VALENTINE, Mary Elizabeth, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was a long-time resident of Upper Montclair before moving to Manchester and then to Ridgewood three years ago. Mary was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a former member of St. Cassian's R.C. Church of Montclair. Mary is survived by her loving sons Richard of North Brunswick and Peter and wife Nancy of Midland Park, her dear daughter-in-law Karen Valentine of San Diego, CA, her grandchildren, Christina, Abigail, Elizabeth, Charles, Patrick and Emily, and her great-grandchildren, Jeffrey Nate and Olivia. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years Richard Kraft Valentine and her son Charles. Cremation was private. A service of remembrance will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff.
