Maffei, Joseph A., age 67 of Paramus, NJ, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus,NJ. Born in New York, NY, he resided in Waldwick and Manhattan before moving to Paramus in 2003. Joseph was the proprietor of Dukes Moving & Express, Inc., New York,NY. Surviving are two daughters; Lisa Dowd, of Lodi, NJ and Teresa Maffei of Bayport, NY and three sons; Joseph Maffei of Las Vegas, NV, Christopher Maffei of Tucson, AZ and William Maffei of Huntington, NY, one grandson, Luke Maffei, three brothers; William Maffei of S. Setauket, NY, Anthony Maffei of Sabastian, FL and Joseph M. Maffei of Livermore, CA and his sister, Ann Krause of New Berlin, NY. Also survived by his loving companion, Maureen Maffei of Mahwah,NJ. Visiting is Friday 2 - 4, 7 - 9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 10:00 AM at St. Luke's R.C.
