McNamara, Daniel J., on January 12, 2010 in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Del Balso). Cherished father of Joseph (Noreen), Daniel (Patricia), Patricia (Brien) Kelley and Jean (Gerard) Burke and devoted grandfather of thirteen. The family will receive friends at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com) 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be said on Friday at 10 AM at St. Elizabeth R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. Interment, St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Daniel's memory to the Summer of 1945 Veterans' Scholarship Fund at Fordham University, 113 West 60th Street, New York, NY 10023.
