Obituary of Betty Galenkamp

GALENKAMP, Betty, age 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 28, 2009. Born in Paterson, she lived in Wyckoff for 70 years. Betty was a homemaker and a member of Hawthorne Gospel Church where she was a member of the Senior Adults. Betty is survived by her three dear sons: Harold, Jr. of Wyckoff, Ken of Wyckoff, and James of Orwell, VT. Also survived by five grandchildren: Heidi, Heather, Amanda, Laura and Kevin, five great-grandchildren: Emelia, Molly, Erin, Sara and Nate and six siblings: Jeanette, Elizabeth, Ellie, Peter, Jack and Joe. Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband Harold, Sr. in 1995. Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral, Thursday, 10:00 AM at the funeral home followed by interment at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
