Obituary of Gertrude Wostbrock Neill

NEILL, Gertrude E. Wostbrock, age 99, died on December 2, 2009. Born in Beaverdale, PA, she was a lifelong resident of Midland Park. She was Part Owner of Wostbrock Embroidery where she worked 6 days a week until 3 months ago. She was a charter member of the Church of Nativity in Midland Park where she was a member of the Rosary Society. She was also membership chairman of the original Midland Park Senior Citizens Group for more than 10 years. Gertrude is survived by her daughter Jean M. Holden and her husband David J. of Littleton, MA, and their children Carol E. Jurga, Linda M. Rooney, David J. Holden, Jr., and Richard H. Holden; her son Henry "Bud" Wostbrock, and his wife Barbara J. of Midland Park and their children John F. Wostbrock, Edward M. Wostbrock, David P. Wostbrock, Susan E. Foley, and Richard A. Wostbrock; and her son William W. Wostbrock and his wife Barbara J. of Largo, FL and their children Valerie A. Wostbrock, William W. Wostbrock, Jr., Scott D. Wostbrock, Glenn T. Wostbrock, Tammie J. Gildea, and Jeffrey P. Wostbrock. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren. Gertrude was predeceased by her first husband Henry J. Wostbrock in 1953 and her second husband John Neill in 1978. Visiting hours will be Friday 4 - 7pm at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave., Midland Park, NJ 07432, www.vpfh.com. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am at Church of the Nativity, 315 Prospect St., Midland Park, NJ 07432. Interment will follow at the Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
