Obituary of Rita Vollkommer

VOLLKOMMER, Rita Marie, age 88, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Born and raised in Hoboken, she lived in Rutherford for the past 25 years. Grandma Rita was a homemaker and an extraordinary mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many! Her strong spirit and simple way of living brought joy to all those that she knew. She will be greatly missed! Rita is survived by her two loving daughters: Linda Vollkommer-Lynch & husband Dennis, and Denise Grillo & Ron Cauchard. She is also survived by her dear grandchildren Krista and Steven Grillo, Jr. and her brother William Spellman & wife Dorothy. Rita was predeceased by her beloved husband John F. to whom she was married for many wonderful years, and her brothers John and Edward.
