ROMER, Kathleen Jean, age 88, died peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, October 8, 2009. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Upper Saddle River for the past 58 years. Kathleen was a homemaker, a parishioner of Church of the Presentation, Upper Saddle River and a former member of the St. Paul's Rosary Alter Society of Ramsey. Loving mother of Laura Jean Scheels of Burton Shore, VA, Kathleen Elizabeth Graf and husband Fred of Mahwah, Sharon Ann McGraw of Upper Saddle River, and Daniel Thomas Romer of Harriman, NY. Cherished grandmother of Jim, Mary Ellen, John, Dawn, Sean, Tracee, Kevin, Frederick, Justine, Joseph, Kevin, Kathleen, April, Albert, Patrick, Christopher, Tara, Daniel and Joseph. Adored great-grandmother of Jennifer, Greg, Michele, Brianna, Allison, Melissa, Deana, Josh, Carolyn, Hannah, Emily, Allison, McKenzie, Joanne, Liam, Zachary, Kyle, Gwen, Owen, Erik, Joseph, Andreah, Ryan, Chris, Kevin, Aidan, Cameron, Emma, Henry, James, Colin, Nicole, Molly, Michael, Aydan and Brandan. Great-great grandmother of Dylan and Kaylee. Dear sister of Agnes Rodda, Thomas McCullough and Elizabeth Hock. Kathleen was predeceased by her beloved husband Albert Joseph Romer, her son Albert James Romer, her daughter Patricia Ann Romer, her two grandsons Richard and John, and her sister Anne Magner.
