Obituary of Arsene Berube

Berube, Arsene J., of Waldwick died Friday, October 2, 2009. Born in the New Bedford, MA he lived in Waldwick for 55 years. Prior to his retirement, Arsene was a Textile Chemical Salesman for Royce Chemical CO. of East Rutherford, NJ for 55 years. He was a member of St. Luke's R.C. Church, Ho Ho Kus, NJ and a World War II Marine Corp veteran who served in the 2nd Marine Division. He was a member of the Hobbyists, the Old Guard, and the Utility Investors Association. Surviving are his daughters; Patricia Berube of Santa Rosa, CA, Peggy Berube of Denver, CO, and Jennifer Waverczak and her husband, David, of Denville, NJ. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren; Caitlin, Anna and Matthew, and one sister, Alma Berry of South Dartmouth, MA. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorice (nee Gibbons) in 2000. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Wednesday, 10:00 am at St. Luke's R. C. Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ.
