Obituary of Jane Decker

DECKER, Jane, age 93, of Midland Park, died on September 25, 2009. Born in Wyckoff, Jane lived in Midland Park and Wyckoff her whole life. Jane retired in 1986 after 12 years as a telephone operator at Center Lumber in Paterson, prior to which, she had been an embroidery machine operator for Wostbrock Mills in Midland Park. She was a member of the Christian Reformed Church of Midland Park where she was a member of the choir, Ruth Circle, the Senior Crusades and was a former Sunday School teacher. Jane is survived by her nieces Joan Dunkerley of Midland Park, and Nancy Van Beveren and her husband Andrew of North Haledon. She is also survived by 4 great nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service 11:00 am Thursday at Midland Park Christian Reformed Church, 183 Godwin Ave., Midland Park.
