Obituary of Corinne Polak

POLAK, Corinne, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, she was a resident of Upper Saddle River for over 40 years. Corinne was a Fashion Buyer in New York City for many years. She was an active member of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary and also held positions on the Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission. She was also a parishioner of the Church of the Presentation. Corinne is survived by her loving husband Maurice, her daughter Lisa Whitehead and her husband Dan of Oakland and her son Steven Polak and his wife Pamela of Jamison, PA. She is also survived by her grandsons Michael and Brian Polak and Caden and Dylan Whitehead. Visiting hours are Friday, August 14, 2009 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, 10:00am at Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458. Interment will be Monday, 11:00am at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 250 Gypsy Lane, Meriden, CT 06450. Memorial donations may be made to the Upper Saddle River Ambulance Corps, 376 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458.
