Dear Baldino Family, Carol was a "shining star" at Ramapo Ridge. The students who were fortunate enough to work with her loved her, her co-workers felt the same way and - as her Principal and friend - I was truly blessed to have her as a member of my staff. We shared many happy moments and I have only the fondest memories of the days we spent helping young people make their way through this somewhat confusing world. Carol was a master in the art of education...she intuitively knew when adolescents needed a hug more than anything and she never hesitated to provide that comfort whenever necessary. I share your pain as I lost my oldest son to cancer two years ago...but I do believe that God takes the best ones when he needs them and Carol was needed for a higher mission than any of us can comprehend.
