Obituary of Helen Verkerk

Verkerk, Helen R. (nee Roughgarden) of Ho Ho Kus, died Saturday, July 25, 2009. Born in Fair Lawn, NJ she lived in Saddle River and Ho Ho Kus. Helen was a parishioner of St. Luke's R.C. Church, Ho Ho Kus. She was a member of High Mountain Golf Club, Franklin Lakes. Surviving is her son Robert F. and his wife Nancy Volek Verkerk of Ho Ho Kus, her devoted aunt, Mabel ( nee Roughgarden) Sinnema of Cedar Grove, formerly of Hawthorne; her cherished cousins, Fr. Paul Sinnema, OFM of Woodridge, Fred Roughgarden of Hawthorne, Robert Roughgarden of Florida, Alice Becker of Franklin Lakes and Jack Cheppo of Lady Lake, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband Robert W. in 2001. The giving and caring person that she was, will be sadly missed by all.
