Obituary of Grace Ferentinos

FERENTINOS, Grace E. (Visconti), age 84, died peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2009. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Ridgefield and Wyckoff before moving to Midland Park five years ago. Grace was an exceptional homemaker and co-owner of The Trolley Stop Diner in Franklin Lakes. She was a parishioner of Saint Elizabeth's R.C. Church, Wyckoff. She was a volunteer with Kurth Cottage at Valley Hospital as a member of the Midland Park Women's Auxiliary. Grace was known for her generosity of spirit to all who knew her. Loving mother of Peggy and husband Michael Vesta, Jayne and husband Daniel Schmitz, and Matthew and wife Leslie Visconti, her son-in-law Donald Conti, and her step-children Jamie and Jerry Ferentinos. Devoted grandmother of Aaron, Christian, Lauren, Adam, Courtney, Blake, Garrett, Amanda and Erin. Loving sister of Carl, Joseph, Ann, Katie and Joan. Grace was predeceased by her husband James Ferentinos, her daughter Patricia D. Conti and her brother Frank. Friends may visit the family on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Service, Tuesday 9:15 AM at the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment, Hackensack Cemetery.
