Obituary of George J. Romano

ROMANO, George, age 66 died on Thursday, July 2, 2009. Born in the Bronx, NY, he lived in Chestnut Ridge, NY until moving to Wyckoff 18 years ago. George was a Broker and Specialist on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. He is survived by his wife Marie, his daughters Gina Sweeney and her husband Danny of Mahwah and Jennifer Redman and her husband Mark of New York, NY and his grandchildren Morgan, Shannon, Luke and William. Visiting hours are Monday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Funeral Mass is Tuesday 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth's RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Interment will follow in the Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
