Obituary of Kenneth Snyder

Snyder, Kenneth E. Sr. age 84 of Hawthorne died Saturday, June 27, 2009. Born in Bellwood, PA he lived in Point Pleasant and Waldwick, before moving to Hawthorne 10 years ago. Kenneth was an Army veteran who served during WW II. He was a Nurse who worked Oradell Hospital, Allendale Nursing Home and most recently at Oak Ridge Nursing Home, Wayne, NJ. Surviving is his daughter, Phyllis A. Carruthers and her husband Richard of Midland Park, his son, Thomas L. Snyder and wife Meg of Montague. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 25 nieces and nephews and his long time companion, Nancy Bryant. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia in 1986, his son, Kenneth E. Jr. - 1975, and his great grandson, Derrick 1994 and 2 brothers and a sister. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 pm at the Olthuis Funeral Home, 159 Godwin Ave. Midland Park, NJ. The family will have visiting on Thursday from 10-11 am at the Russin Funeral Home, 618 Martin St. Bellwood, PA. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 am with the burial in Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood, PA.
