Merry Christmas Mom, So it is December 1st today and getting ready for the holiday season is now upon us. Realizing that nothing will ever be the same without you in our lives, slows us down to stop and think, just how special your love was to us and how irreplaceable you are. The Christmas spirit just can not be found without you, so the true meaning of the holiday season, that you always showed just loving us, is even more important to express between families and friends and not just the gift giving and decorations. The deeper feeling that you always showed is what the holiday season is all about and nothing short of that will make it feel like Christmas. So, just to let you know that you are always in our thoughts and prayers and we just wanted you to know how very special you will always be to us and how much your love has meant to us through the years. Love, Lorraine, Nicholas and Anthony "GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS"!

Mom, If I had to chose one thing in life that I am most thankful for, it would be your love! So, at this time of thnaksgiving, I am focusing on you and the meaning you brought into my life. The happiness and caring that was just your way and your smile. Today I finally got my diningroom light fixture hung. There is a little spotlight that faces the table. I placed your statue underneath it. The one you got when you visited Saint Martin. I think of you and my heart smiles! Love, Lorraine

It is only two weeks until Thanksgiving 2012. I remember when you came back from your cruise only a few days before Thanksgiving in 2008 and we all put Thanksgiving dinner together. I brought the fresh turkey and some trimmings and everyone brought something to share at the dinner table. Who would have ever imagined that this would be our last Thanksgiving spent with you. Love you so deeply and dearly, Lorraine

Mom, It is only 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and you are missed more than ever. I remember Thanksgiving 2008, when you just came back from your trip to Europe and your cruise through the Greek Islands. We put Thanksgiving dinner together so we could all be at your house in Wayne. I brought you the turkey and some trimings the night before and everyone brought something to share for our dinner table. Who would have known that this would have been our last Thanksgiving shared with you? Thanksgiving will just not be the same without you in our lives. You are missed more that ever.

Our Mother and Grandmother The Sweetest Rose and Our Hero My son once wrote of his hero, his grandmother and all the very wonderful qualities she possessed and how very much he loved and appreciated her for the wonderful person she was in his life. Each day, more and more I am seeing my mother in me and realizing what a gift I truly possessed. We were all truly blessed to have such a hero in our lives. Our mother and grandmother has truly touched our lives in ways that have shaped and enriched our everyday lives. If we ever needed her, she was always there to comfort and console. us, to love and cherish us, It would always be our mother who would always be there, as a close confidant and friend . We have been surrounded by her unfailing love in so many ways, that our lives have been forever changed in the presence of her unconditional love and support. She is our gift from God. It is no wonder that she was given the name Rose. For in every essence of life, she is truly the only rose we know of without any thorns. Her love is pure and as gentle as the petals of a rose. Her love knows no prejudices or boundaries. It is as deep as the ocean and as vast as the sky. Each one of us is truly blessed to have her in our lives. She is truly God’s gift and an angel among us, who has made all our lives rich and meaningful. If you searched the entire world, you would never find a sweeter Rose. There are not enough tears or words to express our sorrow and love for our beautiful wonderful mother and grandmother, the sweetest rose and our hero!

One More Day by Diamond Rio Last night I had a crazy dream A wish was granted just for me It could be for anything I didn’t ask for money Or a mansion in Malibu I simply wished, for one more day with you One more day One more time One more sunset, maybe I’d be satisfied But then again I know what it would do Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you One More Day First thing I’d do, is pray for time to crawl Then I’d unplug the telephone And keep the TV off I’d hold you every second Say a million I love you’s That’s what I’d do, with one more day with you One more day One more time One more sunset, maybe I’d be satisfied But then again I know what it would do Leave me wishing still, for one more day with you One more day One more time One more sunset, maybe I’d be satisfied But then again I know what it would do Leave me wishing still, for one more day Leave me wishing still, for one more day Leave me wishing still, for one more day With You One More Day One More Day

Poem “The Magic of a Mother’s Touch” There is magic in a mother’s touch, And sunshine in her smile. There’s love in everything she does, To make our lives worthwhile. We can find both hope and courage Just by looking in her eyes. Her laughter is a source of joy, Her words are warm and wise. There is a kindness and compassion To be found in her embrace. And we see the light of Heaven Shining from a mother’s face

"Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. It must have been cold there in my shadow, to never have sunlight on your face. You were content to let me shine, that's your way. You always walked a step behind. So I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength. A beautiful face without a name for so long. A beautiful smile to hide the pain. Did you ever know that you're my hero, and everything I would like to be? I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. It might have appeared to go unnoticed, but I've got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it. I would be nothing without you. Did you ever know that you're my hero? You're everything I wish I could be. I could fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. Did I ever tell you you're my hero? You're everything, everything I wish I could be. Oh, and I, I could fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. Oh, the wind beneath my wings. You, you, you, you are the wind beneath my wings. Fly, fly, fly away. You let me fly so high. Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings. Oh, you, you, you, the wind beneath my wings. Fly, fly, fly high against the sky, so high I almost touch the sky. Thank you, thank you, thank God for you, the wind beneath my wings.

She is one of the bravest woman I have ever known to continue in the contest when she buried her husband the same week. She did many good things as an officer in our lodge & I'm sure our "Lord" will keep this in mind with her heavenly rewards. I feel priviledged to have been her friend.

Bible Reading Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. . .And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:4-13
