Obituary of Ruth Frank

FRANK, Ruth (Roughgarden) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Born and raised in Hawthorne, the only child of Arthur and Tillie Roughgarden, she graduated from Lasell College with a degree in Interior Design. After a war-time career with Wright Aeronautical, she worked with her father in his building company and later managed her own real estate business. She was married to Dr. Peter A. Frank, Jr. for forty-four years and resided in Glen Rock. Ruth was an active member of the Community Church of Glen Rock. An avid golfer, she was a member of Hackensack Golf Club, The Country Club of North Carolina and Spring Lake Golf Club. Ruth is survived by her beloved husband Peter, her three devoted children: Ruth Sisler Morine and husband David of Great Falls, VA, Drew Sisler and wife Sophie of Glen Rock and Helen Sisler Szymanski and husband Jack of Glen Rock. She is also survived by six grandchildren into whose lives she brought much joy: Deven, Kathryn, Cameron, Matthew, Helen, and William. Funeral Service, Tuesday, 10:00 AM at the Community Church of Glen Rock, 354 Rock Road, Glen Rock. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
