Obituary of Robert Weller

WELLER, Robert age 86 of Ramsey, died peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2009 at the Bristol Manor in Rochelle Park. Bob was born in the Bronx, NY and lived in Allendale before moving to Ramsey 9 years ago. Bob co-owned and managed his own market research company in Manhattan for over 30 years and was listed in Who's Who in the East. He was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Allendale and served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps. Surviving are his wife, Pearl (nee Wasserman), his children, Steven Weller and his wife Shelly of Flemington, NJ, Janet Weller and her husband Pete Santorella of Closter, Nancy and her husband Jim Holland of Mahwah and Richard Weller and his wife Sheila of Keller, TX. Bob also leaves seven grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Landyn, Sara, Rebecca, Sam and Andrew and his brother, Albert Weller and his wife Edythe and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his grandchildren Jennifer, Jared and Jesse. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 am at the Calvary Lutheran Church, 165 W. Crescent Avenue, Allendale, NJ 07401. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting is Thursday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.
