Obituary of Lucille Doot

DOOT, Lucille "Jane"(nee Froelich age 82 of Glen Rock, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 30, 2009. Lucille was born in Paterson on September 2, 1926, she was a resident of Glen Rock since 1953. Lucille was a licensed Beautician and worked for Haircraft in Rochelle Park for more than 20 years. She was a former member of the Wyckoff Reformed Church. Surviving is her loving husband of 58 years, William Doot, Jr., her devoted children, Nancy Jane and her husband Jim Miller of Hewitt, Frederick Doot and his wife Janice of Fair Lawn, Craig Doot and his wife Anne of Hawthorne and Daniel Doot and his wife Carol of Simpsonville, SC. Lucille also leaves her thirteen adoring grandchildren, her sister Winifred Froelich and her brother Frederick Froelich. Lucille was pre-deceased by her sons David in 1978 and Willim III in 2008, also pre-deceased by her sisters Kathryn Van Der Beck, Dorothy Huggins and Florence Wertz, and her brother Robert Froelich. Funeral services will be held Thursday 10:30 am at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. Interment will follow in the Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visiting is Wednesday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps., Harding Plaza, Glen Rock, NJ 07452.
