Obituary of Jeanne Erny

ERNY, Jeanne H. (nee Hickey) of Ramsey, died peacefully on Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Jeanne was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a resident of Ramsey for the past 58 years. She was a secretary for the Mahwah Board of Education for 30 years before her retirement in 1993. Surviving are her children, Stephen Erny and his wife Susan of Wurtsboro, NY, Andrew Erny and his wife Nancy of Simpsonville, SC and Pamela and her husband Rick Abma of Ramsey. Jeanne also leaves her granddaughters, Heather and Mary Liz Erny of Simpsonville, SC, and her brother Cornelius Hickey of Reading, PA. Jeanne was pre-deceased by her husband Arthur Erny in 1987. Funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741.
