Obituary of Frederick J. Brunner

Brunner, Frederick J. age 69 of Ridgewood died Monday, May 25, 2009. Born and raised in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, before moving to Ridgewood 26 years ago. Proud Graduate of Fordham Prep, Class of 58 and Fordham University, Class of 62. He was a former photographer and member of the Ridgewood High School Football Scholarship Committee. Member of the Knights of Columbus, Ridgewood, NJ. He was an Army veteran who served from 1962 �" 1969. Fred worked for 40 years for IBM Corp. as Salesman and Instructor at the Advanced Business Institute. Fred was a devout Catholic and proud Irish American. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Geraldine "Gae" Brunner of Ridgewood, his sons, Thomas and his wife Dina of Wyckoff, Matthew and his wife Julianne of River Edge, Christian and his wife Katy of Ho-Ho-Kus, and his daughter Kate and her fiancé Tim McDermond of NYC. Also surviving are his 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Jack, Matthew, Christian, TJ, Petie, Ryan, William, Lily, Nicole and his brother, James Brunner of Charlotte, NC. He was predeceased by his brother, Charles in 2008.
