Obituary of Patricia Foley

FOLEY, Patricia (nee Mahody) age 71of Hawthorne, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Born in New York City, Pat was a resident of Washington Twp. and Mahwah before recently moving to Hawthorne. In her early career Pat was an Office Manager for an Orthopedic Practice in Westwood. Before retiring, Pat was an Administrative Assistant at Berkley College in West Paterson. Pat's favorite past time was spending time with her husband and family. Surviving are her loving husband of 49 years, James J. Foley, her devoted daughters, Ann Foley and Glenn Hartell of Rockland County, NY, Jane and her husband Matt Fenkart and Christine and her husband Tim Carone all of Hawthorne. Pat, also known as Nana to her adoring grandchildren leaves, Matthew, Michael, Jack and Caitlin. She was pre-deceased by her brother John Mahody in 1990. Funeral mass will be held Saturday, 9:30 am at St. Anthony's R. C. Church, 276 Diamond Bridge Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ. Interment will follow at the Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah. The Foley family will receive friends on Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.
