Obituary of Ralph Ten Eyck

TEN EYCK, Ralph Kenneth, age 62, died on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Born in Paterson, Ralph was a lifelong resident of Waldwick. He owned and operated the Ten Eyck Service Station in Waldwick and Midland Tire in Midland Park. Ralph was a Sergeant and served for 9 years with the Bergen County Sheriff's Department Mounted Unit Association Motorcycle Unit. He served in the US Army in Frankfort, Germany and was a member of the Midland Park VFW. He is survived by his daughter Amy Mathieu and her husband Chad, his granddaughter Cassandra, his parents Ralph and Doris Ten Eyck, his brothers Paul and his wife Susan, and Alex and his wife Sharon, and his fiancé Anita Napolitano. Ralph was predeceased by his son Kenneth. Visiting hours will be Monday 2 -4 and 7 - 9pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481, www.vpfh.com.
