Obituary of Lucille Nitka

NITKA, Lucille, accepted an invitation to join her Lord on Monday, April 27, 2009. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a graduate of Erasmus High School, and attended Hunter College. Lucille was an executive secretary with Oakonite Cable, Citi Corp and Godiva Chocolatier. She was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, Franklin Lakes. Lucille is survived by her beloved husband Jeremiah to whom she was married for over 55 wonderful years, her three dear daughters, Jerene Nitka, Kim Nitka, Dawn Trusewicz and husband Brad, and her grandson Matthew Trusewicz. She is also survived by her brother Ronald and wife Dolores, her nephew Joseph and wife Audrey and her sister-in-law Lillian Nitka. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Funeral Service on Friday, 11:30 AM from Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Monsey, NY, followed by entombment at the cemetery.
