Obituary of Frederick Kleen

KLEEN, Frederick, Bergert George, age 85, died peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2009. Born in Arlington, NJ, he lived in Wyckoff for the past 45 years. Fred was an engineer with Singer Kearfott and Lockheed Martin until retiring in 1986. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy. Survived by his beloved wife Jeanne (Dalton) to whom he was married for 60 wonderful years, his sister Anne Ribaudo of Butler and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may visit on Monday, 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A funeral service will immediately follow visiting, 11:30 at the funeral home. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
