Obituary of JoAnne Fox

FOX, JoAnne April, nee Russo, age 58, died at her home on Friday, March 13, 2009. Born in Suffern, NY, she was a lifelong resident of Mahwah. JoAnne was an English and Theater Arts Teacher, and Drama Director at the Mahwah High School. She was in charge of the Omni Club. She was instrumental in organizing Theater Day for Teachers and theater night for students at Montclair State University. She was also a National Sales leader for Longaberger Baskets. JoAnne is survived by her loving husband Larry R. Stein and her son Andrew R. Fox and his fiancé Veronica L. Pasterczyk. She is also survived by her Aunt Mildred Sulkowski and her Uncles Joseph Russo, James Russo and Wallace Russo. JoAnne was predeceased by her mother Joan Russo in 1981 and her father Frank J. Russo in 2006. Cremation was private. There will be a receiving of friends and family on Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Frank J. Russo Schlorarship, c/o Mahwah High School Guidance Office, 50 Ridge Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430.
