Obituary of John Korbis

Korbis, John age 86 of Wyckoff died Sunday, February 1, 2009. Born in Passaic, he lived in Garfield where he was active as city councilman. He and his family later moved to Clifton and then to Wyckoff in 1962. He was a WW II Army Air-Corps veteran. John was an insurance and stock broker. He attended the Orthodox Christian Church of Christ the Savior, Paramus, NJ. Surviving is his wife Helen (nee Capko) Korbis of Wyckoff, his son, John J. Korbis of Saddle Brook, his daughter, Barbara Bilger of Baltimore, MD. His grandchildren, Christopher, Hannah and Caroline Bilger.
