Dear Cluck, I am so sorry to hear about John, He was such a good friend of mine in High School. John was so helpful in getting me on the Varsity Soccer team, he taught me so much. I always considered him, as well as you, good friends. Pat, I am still in Colorado with a family so I will wish you peace from here. You are in my prayers. Sincerely, Dan Mittag

It is with great sadness that we learned of John's passing. We were introduced to John when we needed some work done on our home. Six years and four home improvement projects later gave us the opportunity to get to know John personally -- he was a very kind, honest, fair and compassionate man. We regret that we were not able to pay our respects in person and send his family our deepest condolences. God bless you, John, and may you rest in peace. Warren and Maryann Stoll

It is with great sadness that I hear of John's passing. I remember him as one of the nicest of my classmates at Ramapo High School. We always talked of music and literature. In fact he bought my old Framus 12-string guitar from me at the end of our senior year. I was happy that it found such a good home. Our paths crossed several times over the years and we always greeted each other with a smile, handshake, and quick embrace. I'll prefer to remember him this way -- an intelligent, patient, friendly, just plain good person. May he rest in peace. My deepest sympathies to you, his family. Steve Palmieri

I am very sad to learn of John's death, for I have fond memories of when he coached my son Mike in his first year of Wyckoff Little League (about 1988?). He was enthusiastic, kind and patient with the boys. He had a beautiful family, many members of which I have known in Wyckoff. He has left much too soon. I regret not being able to pay respects in person. Blessings to Patty and the children.

It was with great sadness that I learned of John's passing. It was only a few short months ago that I had the great pleasure of being in his company after many years. He was always a wonderful person with a big heart for others. I will sorely miss him. I wish to express my sincere condolences to his family in their time of grieving.
