Obituary of Roy Perry

Perry, Roy Edmund age 61 of Barnegat, NJ died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at his home. Born in New Bedford, MA, he lived in Franklin Lakes, Bridgewater and most recently in Barnegat. Roy was a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame and was self employed as a manufacturer's representative. He was an integral part of the Franklin Lakes community as a coach of the youth basketball program for many years. He is survived by his sons, Matthew Kyle Perry and his wife Gretchen Perry of Cumberland, MD, Adam McGuire Perry and Jonathan Edmund Perry both of Hoboken. He is also survived by his parents Edmund A. and Yvette (nee Roy) Perry, his sister, Madeleine Hendrickson and her husband Richard Hendrickson of Barnegat, his two nephews Scott and Todd Hendrickson and Debra McGuire Perry, mother of his sons. Visiting Hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass Wednesday 10 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Rd. Franklin Lakes. Private Cremation will be held. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 would be appreciated.
